My Bio

From Event Management and Artist Liaison to Publicist and Executive Assistant, Emily Bigg has developed a deep understanding of the Entertainment industry. Over 10 years of experience has given her a unique knowledge when it comes to the needs of HNW clients.

Emily takes pride in her attention to detail and thrives on the pressures of the industry. She enjoys working in a fast-paced environment as it allows her to focus, prioritise and keep one step ahead of the game. She is passionate about finding innovative ways to save time and money. One example of this was recognition by previous employers, Outside Organisation and AEG for her contributions to festival accreditation.

Emily’s impressive and varied background allows her to be understanding and objective, whilst finding the best solution.

Growing up Emily was a keen Dancer and Singer, performing regularly with her dance troupe 'Dance Alive' at Disney World Florida and Universal Studios as well as local performances in and around South London.

Emily finished her school education in 2011 after receiving 12 GCSEs and continued to her professional education at Sphere Studios in Battersea. Emily had already interned for over a year at the studios, during weekends and school holidays, under the wing of owner Francesco Camelli and producers Guy Farley and Chris Kimsey.

In 2012, Emily decided to refocus her learning and began studying for a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Live Events and Public Relations with DV8 Training in London. Through the apprenticeship Emily worked as a Personal and Event Assistant with Owner, Dette, and Manager, Mo, at Islington Metal Works. At the time Islington Metal Works was known for its large scale night club events and indie gigs, however, with Emily’s help, the pair launched their now highly successful wedding business.

When her apprenticeship ended in the summer of 2013 Emily was offered an opportunity of a lifetime to study as a Ballet teacher with The Royal Ballet’s British Ballet Organisation. After initially jumping at the chance to learn from world-renowned Royal Ballet Principle, Mary Goodhew, Emily's focus migrated towards her true passion for the logistical and strategic side of the industry.

In October 2014 Emily was hired as the receptionist for acclaimed PR Agency 'Outside Organisation'. At only 21 years old and after 9 short months as a receptionist Emily was the first in the company’s history to be promoted out of this role and into the executive’s office as Personal Assistant to CEO, Dominic Mohan and Founder, Alan Edwards.

During this time Alan and his Executive Assistant, Sarah Bedford, took Emily under their wings providing her with unrivalled experience as both a personal assistant and a publicist. Upon Dominic's departure from the company, Emily was rewarded for her loyalty and offered a position as a full-time publicist as her role as a Personal Assistant was now redundant.

As a Publicist, Emily used her skills as a personal assistant to build invaluable organisational systems and relationships with clients and journalists alike. As time went by Emily, eager to provide more for her clients, established that a career as an executive assistant was still her passion.

In September 2019 Emily, an avid theatre-buff, was offered a job at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group as the Executive Assistant to President, Jessica Koravos, which with the support of Outside Organisation, she jumped at the chance to accept.

Sadly with the COVID-19 pandemic, the industry has taken a hard hit however Emily, resilient as ever, saw a gap in the market and thought what a better time to launch Bigg Trouble!
